Easy Start:
The beginning of most role playing games is often one of the most difficult parts of the game. The characters are weak and hit points are low, causing even the simplest of battles to be a nervous event. Not only this, but there are often boss battles piled together in close succession. To get some much needed AP during the early portions of the game use this trick. Play up to the point when the party sails aboard the S.S. Liki to Kilika and is attacked by sin. Once in the battle manipulate your party so that all three men are in the front line. Have Tidus cast 'Cheer' each turn
he has for about ten turns. With this done each of the men should be doing more than enough damage to kill a sinscale in one hit. Now start clobbering sinscales like there's no tomorrow. after you've had enough of this simply rotate in Lulu and Yuna to give them credit for participating and beat sin's fin.The AP for this battle won't be distributed until after the fight against the jellyfish creature with Wakka and Tidus. When I first did this I only spent twenty to thirty minutes doing it because I wasn't sure if it would work. After everything each character went up five sphere levels at once, not bad for twenty minutes of battle.

Getting the last Music Sphere:
After purchasing all the Music Spheres (#1 to #68), talk to the man again and he will offer the last three Music spheres, which are #69 Hum Of The Fayth, #70 Lulu's Theme, and #71 Wakka's Theme, for 40,000 gil.

Defeating Nemesis:
At the start of the battle, summon Yojimbo. Pay as much as you can (about 10,000,000 or more gil). If he uses Zanmato, he will instantly kill Nemesis even if his HP is about 10,000,000.
