Alyx-Great! Oh no, Breen has started his ascent! Hurry Gordon before he
escapes!
Dr. Breen-I could have told you that was pointless Dr. Freeman.
Alyx-Go Gordon!
Dr. Breen-Are you still with us Dr. Freeman? Not for much longer I think.
(Gordon reaches the top)
Alyx-Oh my god, the portal is opening!
Dr. Breen-I hope you have said your farewells.
(Gordon uses the gravity gun to shoot the energy balls into the portal)
Dr. Breen-Go back Freeman, you have no idea what you are doing!
(Gordon continues to wreck the portal)
Dr. Breen-You do not know what you will unleash, you could bring down this
whole citadel. Think, man, think of the people below!
(Gordon blows up the portal)
Dr. Breen-NO! You need me!
Alyx-Yes!
(The shield covering the control room shuts off and Alyx steps out)
Alyx-Yeah! You did it! Come on Gordon we have got to get out of here, maybe
we still have...
(The portal collapses and explodes, time begins to slow down and the Gman
slowly appears)
Gman-Time? Dr. Freeman? Is it really that time again? It seems as if you only
just arrived. You have done a great deal in a small timespan. You have done
so well that I have received some interesting offers for your services.
Ordinarily I would not contemplate them, but these are extraordinary times.
Rather than offer you the illusion of free choice, I will take the liberty of
choosing for you. If and when the time comes again.
(The background begins to fade away into black, a greenish light appears)
Gman-I do apologize for what must seem to you an arbitrary imposition,
Dr. Freeman, I trust it will all make sense in the course of.. well.. I am
really not at liberty to say.
(The background becomes a black tunnel with white strands of light flying by)
Gman-In the meantime, this is where I get off.
(A door slides open in the air and the Gman steps in and the door shuts behind
him and the credits roll)

Since the only format that GameFAQs accepts guides in is ASCII, I mostly didnt
use contractions because the apostrophe is not in the ASCII formatting,
therefore instead of doing this I simply typed out the two words.
Also where the * is, I am not censoring the word, it actually appears like
this in the sub-titles.
A few people have e-mailed me asking about some of the speeches by Breen that I
left out of the script, this is because you dont actually HAVE to listen to them
the only reason I put the first one in is because at one point or another you
will most likely hear the entire thing, the others you can run right past.
