Try to get a lead before the sharp left at the beginning or you'll have to
deal with idiot opponents(like I did -_-). Right before you get to the oil
refinery there will be a very sharp(almost 180) turn. I've tried many
different ways to go through this, and the best way by far is to hit
speedbreaker, start turning before you hit the hill, and just kind of try to
fly through the little shortcut. If done right you can make it around that
corner and gain a big lead on your rivals.

Cut through the prison instead of going around it. Even if you flip you still
don't lose time. You do still want to try avoiding flipping though, and the
best thing to do is let go of the accelerator and don't turn or anything in
mid-air. You really want to avoid the beach shortcut right after the prison.
The rest of the race is shortcut free.

Once you're about to leave the college circle you'll see the parking lot
shortcut on your left again. Right after that you'll reach the hospital and
the upper half is open so jump it then make your way around the last
switchback. Just keep up with his Cayman and use your nitrous wisely and you
should beat him without any problems.

Stay in your lane until it auto steers you into the left lane.(Don't worry
about the semi. If you drive fast enough you'll pass by him without any
problems). Once it auto steers you into the far left lane switch over one lane
to the right(the middle left lane) and pass in between the two cars before the
tollbooth. Once you pass the bridge get into the far right lane and stay there
until you pass two cars(you'll have to fight the auto steer) then switch over
one lane to the left to avoid hitting the next car. From there one just use
all of your nitrous until you reach the finish line.
