Die Jedi-Knight-Reihe wird fortgesetzt: Nachdem Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast 2002 für Begeisterung unter Spielern und für volle Kassen bei LucasArts sorgte, soll der Erfolg der Reihe mit dem für Herbst 2003 angekündigten Jedi Academy fortgeführt werden. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy wird dabei - wie schon der Vorgänger - von Raven Software entwickelt. Man schlüpft in die Rolle eines Auszubildenden an der von Luke Skywalker gegründeten Jedi Academy und lernt unter der Anleitung von Luke und Kyle Katarn den Umgang mit der "Macht". In verschiedenen Missionen soll man fortan beweisen, dass man ein würdiger Lehrling ist, letztendlich kommt aber natürlich alles anders als geplant und urplötzlich muss man dafür sorgen, dass das Universum nicht von bösen Mächten übernommen wird....
