Last 2014 Update for Insurgency Released

New World Interactive (NWI), the developer behind the highly-acclaimed, indie gritty shooter Insurgency, released a new content update for the game today to celebrate the holidays with their community. The update features the addition of the Colt 1911 pistol, new maps, improvements to Survival gameplay, and other miscellaneous changes. It also includes new night maps Buhriz and Revolt, as well as gameplay changes to game mode Revolt. New Survival maps Sinjar, Verticality, and Heights have also been included. Building upon feedback from the dedicated, growing Insurgency community, NWI will continue to deliver high-quality, exciting content updates into the new year. Built on Valve’s Source Engine, Insurgency supports up to 32-person multiplayer and six-player cooperative, and showcases a training level as well as offline practice against AI.
