It's been a while since the hyper-violent superhero parody has graced our screens- the last time was back in 2015! The wait is finally over, as this new trailer proves, complete with a new big-bad and a ton of things for Saitama to punch one time.
If you missed out on this comic-turned-show, perk up; the plot is a superhero parody that concerns a Justice-League-esque organization called the Hero Association, where each superhero is ranked from S-Class (the strongest) to C-Class (the weakest). The protagonist of the show, Saitama, is strictly C-Class, hailing from the unpleasantly named metropolis of Z-City. However, Saitama has trained hard, and grown so strong that he can effortlessly defeat anyone with a single punch, which has him pretty bored most of the time; there are simply no challenges left for him since he destroys everyone effortlessly with a single strike. After a three year real time break, Viz Media just announced on Twitter that the long-awaited second season is on the way, and we'll see if they can serve up an opponent who can take more than one punch from Saitama.

Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun. After three years of “special training,” he’s become so strong that he’s practically invincible. In fact, he’s too strong—even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch. Now, the great seer Madame Shibabawa’s prediction about the Earth being doomed seems to be coming true as the frequency of monster incidents escalates. Alongside Genos, his faithful disciple, Saitama begins his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association, while Garou, a man utterly fascinated by monsters, makes his appearance.
The second season premieres this upcoming April, and the first season of One-Punch Man is available on both Netflix and Hulu right now.
