DevGAMM Lisbon 2024 brought together a stellar roster of 50+ industry icons, including John Romero, the legendary creator of DOOM. Plus, Terrance Cohen from Insomniac Games, Guido Schmidt from Rovio, Adam Boyes from Iron Galaxy, Celia Hodent, and Alex Nichiporchik from tinyBuild. Attendees had the chance to hear insights from speakers representing companies like Guerrilla, King, Flying Wild Hog, Ubisoft, and many more.

A fantastic highlight of the conference was the workshop room, where attendees gained exclusive hands-on knowledge. These unrecorded sessions made the insights even more valuable, featuring experts like Afonso Ferreira (DECA Games), Maria Borys-Piątkowska (Flying Wild Hog), Mafalda Duarte (Telescope Game Studios), Kevin Hagen (Tiny Roar), and more.

The MeetToMatch platform facilitated countless connections, logging 990 of scheduled meetings. Attendees took full advantage of networking opportunities at the Expo Zone, featuring booths from companies such as tinyBuild, Madrid in Game, and eGamesLab.

Speed Networking proved to be a hit, offering an efficient way to forge numerous connections in a short time. The concept was simple: attendees paired up for quick 3-minute chats before switching partners. The room was packed, with every spot booked!

Engage! with Publishers & Investors gave game developers a unique chance to connect with representatives from TapNation, FDG Entertainment, Mika Games, tinyBuild, Miniclip, Krafton, and more. Developers came prepared with their presentations or trailers and pitched their projects directly to industry professionals. In just 1.5 hours, the activity sparked dozens of meaningful connections.

VIP and BUSINESS ticket holders enjoyed exclusive perks, including access to the Business Lounge and private Roundtable discussions. Sponsored by Elephant Games, these intimate sessions (up to 8 attendees each) provided a platform for deep dives into critical topics like AI in game development and crisis management in the industry, fostering thoughtful dialogue and actionable insights.

The Game Showcase was a hub of creativity, featuring up to 60 incredible titles. Attendees got to meet the developers in person, and this was the busiest event area at all times.

The highlight of the event was the DevGAMM Awards Ceremony, where 48 best AA and indie games competed for a $100,000 prize fund, sponsored by Scorewarrior.

The ceremony featured a dozen special guests awarding the winners of the competition. The main award of the evening, the Grand Prize, with the $20k prize in cash, was taken home by Manor Lords developed by Slavic Magic.
