The developer will continue working on the game for 1 or 2 years before its full release, improving the experience based on the community suggestions. Here you can access the Early Access Roadmap.

RESTORE THE FORMER GLORY OF BORDER TOWN
Orc raiders once destroyed the village, but you arrived in high spirits, ready to restore it to its former glory. After all, you have nowhere else to go.
Players will take the role of an amnesic protagonist who is rescued by an elder determined to restore the village. Border Town is a small town set in an expansive open world full of resources, enemies and allies. The core loop of the game is composed of the mechanics of a survival adventure - crafting, farming, hunting, building, fishing, trading and others; but further mechanics are expected to be added in the full version.
Border Town aims to be a highly flexible game where players can customize their buildings and farms, and transform the lands around the village. The way they unfold the story will be determined by how they explore the world or which sidequests they decide to take on.
But the world is not only filled with friendly NPCs, monsters are wandering around and will destroy everything if the resurging town is not secured properly.
