New “Disputed Sands” Galactic Front Event for Starship Troopers: Extermination Now Live
The community of Starship Troopers: Extermination has achieved great success in the first Galactic Front Event and reached an important milestone! Through dedication and cooperation, the Federation has gained a foothold on the ice planet Boreas, paving the way for future missions and challenges.
From early February, players will once again have the opportunity to shape the world of Starship Troopers: Extermination. Update 1.2 will also introduce a new Galactic Front event, Disputed Sands, with new rewards and a new perks system that gives players more options to customize and advance their troopers.
Update 1.2 also brings numerous performance and quality-of-life improvements, such as server optimizations, company chat, and more. A Full list of patch notes can be found here.
The latest patch for Starship Troopers: Extermination is yet another testament to the developers' ongoing commitment to improving the game and addressing reported issues. The team has already announced UI focus optimizations in update 1.3 to resolve instances where the "Y" and "Triangle" buttons may be unresponsive on controllers. Additionally, they have identified occasional audio distortions during Bug swarm attacks on PlayStation, as well as rare cases of loadout notification badges not clearing properly. Each update brings the game closer to an even more polished and refined experience.

Starship Troopers: Extermination is available digitally for Windows PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Offworld shop, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series XIS consoles.
