Las Vegas, NV – March 13, 2025 - Get ready to 'bounce' into action, because PM Studios and developer Pocket Trap announced today Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo officially launches across PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC on May 28th, 2025. A new trailer gives an in-depth look at the game's neon cityscape, some sweet yoyo tricks, and a sneak peek at the corporate shenanigans and ruthless crime bosses you'll encounter. The newly available demo takes console players directly into the yoyo-verse for the first time.
In this 2D platforming adventure you'll play as Pippit, an endearing bat on a mission to reclaim the Pipistrello family's influence following the kidnapping of his dear auntie. Using Pippit's trusty yoyo as a weapon, you will explore a sprawling urban landscape, learning new tricks and fighting rival crime bosses to restore your family's once powerful legacy.
Discover and experiment with over 40 equipable badges and 20 passive upgrades that change the way you play. Combining certain badges might make you more powerful in battle or subtly alter the way your yoyo works — it's up to you to find the right mix.

Starting today, players can 'take a spin' into the world of Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo with a console demo available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. PC players can still get in on the action with the demo out now on Steam.
Retail Collector's Edition:
Retail preorders for Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo are now open in North America for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch! This exclusive Collector's Edition includes a Pippit plushie to help you master your yoyo tricks (or give you company while you practice your skills!). PM Studios will announce the release date in the coming weeks.
