Hi and welcome to my Sim Safari FAQ. When I first saw this game, I thought
it was crap. My little brother got it for his birthday on the 20th of
November, and he was playing it for ages. I sat down and had a go and
thought, this game is cool! And here is my guide to the game...

*2. What Sim Safari Is*
***********************

Sim Safari is basically that, you have to build, run and maintain a
successful Safari park, somewhere in Africa. You have to put in
accomodation, dining, bathing etc facilities, and hire staff from the local
village. Plus you have maintain biodiversity in your park. Anyways, on with
the FAQ...

*3. The Village*
****************

The Village is where you hire all of your staff for your park.

3.1 The Village Elder

The Village Elder is who you talk to to hire your staff. He is usually happy
if you hire staff, and is usually asking for money, for some purpose.

3.2 Staff For Hire

There are 5 types of staff for hire :

Cooks - $200
Drivers - $150
Attendants - $75
Naturalists - $1000
Scouts - $200

*4. The Camp*
*************

This is where you put all of your buildings, accomodation, toilets etc.

4.1 The Business Manager

Always listen to this woman. Look at her comments regulary. Plus look at the
Detailed Business Advice. It will tell you what to build and who you need to
hire.

4.2 Buildings

Here is a list of buildings you can build and their prices :

Camp Path - $15
Tent - $50
Outhouse - $100
Picnic Table And Firepit - $25
2-Door Car - $1000
Cottage - $350
Outhouse And Shower - $150
Dining Area - $1000
4-Door Car - $3000
Lodge - $15000
Luxury Dining Hall - $5000
Pop Top Van - $10000
Blind - $1500
Hot Tub - $5000
Swimming Pool - $10000
Amphitheatre - $15000

And here is descriptions of the buildings :

Camp Path - Builds paths for people to walk on.
Tent - The most basic accomodation.
Outhouse - What can I say? A Toilet.
Picnic Table And Firepit - The most basic dining facility.
2-Door Car - The most basic car. A cool little Jeep.
Cottage - The next step up from the Tent.
Outhouse And Shower - Toilet And Shower.
Dining Area - Basically a little resturant.
4-Door Car - Holds more people than the 2-Door.
Lodge - A big house thing that allows lots of people accomodation.
Luxury Dining Hall - As the name suggests, a luxury place for dining.
Pop Top Van - A people mover basically.
Blind - These allow people to watch animals.
Hot Tub - A hot tub for relaxing in.
Swimming Pool - A swmming pool. Put one in so your guests are relaxing a bit
on their holiday.
Amphitheatre - An outdoor movie theatre.

4.3 Trees And Shrubs

Here is a list of Trees and Shrubs you can place around your camp.

Trees

*************

This is what all of your tourists come to see. And this is what the game is
all about. Well sort of...

5.1 The Ecologist

This woman is always wanting more and more animals in the park. Listen to
what she suggests and try and put that particular animal in the park. Plus
check out the park census to see what your missing, or what you have too
many of.

5.2 Mammals

Here is a list of mammals you can out in your park.

African Buffalo - $100
African Elephant - $100
Cheetah - $50
Common Duiker - $50
Giraffe - $100
Hippopotamus - $100
Impala - $50
Kudu - $50

Here are some quick tips on playing the game.

* To get five stars, you must keep the Village Elder, the Business Manager
and the Ecologist happy. With a big grin. And you have to also accomplish
the task of puting in all of the basic facilities.

* Try and fulfil all of what the Village Elder, the Business Manager
and the Ecologist say to do.

* Also try and keep up the Big Five population. They are the Elephant, Lion,
Leopard, Rhino and the African Buffalo.

type these in during gameplay, not too fast, not too slow...

$10,000 - daddy warbucks
$750,000 in current fund - flush fund please
Unlimited money - win free money
Random cats and animals in park - cats and dogs
Increased poaching - rattle them bones
Trees in camp - shiver me timber
