I. The Introduction of MVP
===============================================================================

1. Q: What is an MVP?
A: An MVP is a boss type monster that is more superior in terms of attack
damage, defence and hit points when compared to normal spawn monsters.

2. Q: What is the MVP Reward System?
A: The player who deals the most damage and receive the most damage from the
MVP boss will have an "MVP" firework displayed above his/her head when
the boss is defeated. This player is known as the "Most Valued Player"
and will receive extra experience points and a special item directly
placed into his/her inventory.

3. Q: Are MVP bosses hard? Can u solo kill an MVP boss?
A: MVP bosses in Ragnarok Online are created to challenge parties. Therefore
soloing an MVP boss is next to impossible. (Notice that I said next to
impossible, not totally impossible)

4. Q: How can I have a better chance of becoming the "Most Valued Player"?
A: Generally different jobs have different ways to compete for the "Most
Valued Player". A hunter or wizard usually depends on dealing the most
damage onto the boss to become MVPer since these two jobs can dish out
the highest damage among all jobs. A knight, on the other hand, will
rely on both his/her damage output as well as the tanking damage he/she
receive to compete for the MVP title. Also, finding the boss first and
be the first attacker will allow you to have 30% more chance of
becoming the MVPer.

5. Q: Is kill stealing an MVP boss ok?
A: MVP bosses in Ragnarok Online are Free For All. This means any player
can attack the boss even though you are already attacking it.

1. ==================================BAPHOMET==================================
Race : Demon

: A goat demon carrying a crescent scythe.

: Baphomet has the highest attack damage as well as the longest
hp among all MVP bosses. He also deals splash damage. A well-
organized party is highly recommended to hunt him. Also, he
teleports from one spot to another frequently, making it quite
difficult to find him.

:
a) Knight : Quadraple Ancient Pike + asperio (priest skill)
Explaination: Baphomet has very high flee (253). Since knights tend to
have lower dex, their attack usually misses a lot when
engaging him. A quadraple ancient pike (4s pike + 4 mummy
cards) will give the knight an additonal 80 accuracy rate,
allowing them to hit more. Also, asperio from a support
priest will make your pike holy element, allowing you
to deal 114% damage against Baphomet.

b) Hunter : Double Decussate Hallowed Crossbow + silver arrows
Explaination: Hunters tend to have higher dex, therefore mummy cards are
not required. A double decussate hallowed crossbow (a 3s
crossbow + 2 strouf cards + 1 santa poring card) with
silver arrows will deal 233% damage against Baphomet.

c) Blacksmith : Quadraple Ancient Battle Axe + asperio (priest skill)
Explaination: Same as knight, blacksmith needs the extra 80 accuracy rate
to hit Baphomet effectively.

d) Assassin : Triple Critical Jur + asperio (priest skill)
Explaination: A triple critical jur consists of a 3s jur and 3 soldier
skeleton cards. It helps the assassin to make critical
hits that will not miss, even though Baphomet has high flee

a) Majestic Goat (2.00%) : Headgear that gives +5 defence and +1 strength
b) Crescent Scythe (2.00%): Two-handed spear that gives +150 attack and
+20% critical hit rate
c) Clip (8.00%) : Slotted accessory, +10 sp

: Dark Lord is very fast and has the second highest attack damage.
The deadlist part is that he casts meteor storm frequently, with
a 2-second cast time. Also, he has very high magical defence,
so spells are not effective against him.

a) Knight : Triple Decussate Trident + asperio
Explaination: A triple decussate trident consists of a 3s trident and 3
strouf cards. With asperio from a priest, it will do 260%
damage to Dark Lord.

b) Hunter : Triple Decussate Crossbow + silver arrows
Explaination: A triple decussate crossbow consists of a 3s crossbow and
3 strouf cards. When using silver arrows, this bow will do
260% damage to Dark Lord.

c) Blacksmith : Triple Decussate Hammer + asperio
Explaination: Same as knight.

d) Assassin : Triple Decussate Jur + asperio
Explaination: Same as knight.

tends to make critical hits, which completely ignores the
armor defence of the players. Also, he teleports often.

asperio from priest, it will do 189% damage to Doppelganger

Explaination: This combination of weapon does 189% damage to Doppelganger

: Dracula is the new MVP boss that comes with Juno update. He has
the highest magical defence among all MVP bosses. Seeing that he
is dark 4 and has 76% magical defence, all fire, ice, wind and
earth elemental spells will be reduced to 6% when used on him.
He also teleports very often.

a) Knight : Double Decussate Hallowed Trident + asperio
Explaination: This combination of weapon will do 246% damage to Dracula.

b) Hunter : Double Decussate Hallowed Crossbow + silver arrows
Explaination: This combination of weapon does 246% damage to Dracula.

c) Blacksmith : Double Decussate Hallowed Hammer + asperio
Explaination: Same as knight, deals 246% damage on Dracula.

d) Assassin : Double Decussate Hallowed Jur + asperio

: Drake is an average MVP boss by himself. What makes him
difficult is the penomenas and mimics in his spawn room as well
as the deadly wraith minions he summons. Also, watch out for
his water ball spell and spear boomerang range attack.

a) Knight : Triple Boned Trident + asperio
Explaination: A triple boned trident consists of a 3s trident and
3 skeleton worker cards. With asperio from a priest, it
will deal 188% damage on Drake.

b) Hunter : Triple Boned Crossbow + silver arrows
Explaination: This combination of weapon will do 188% damage to Drake.

c) Blacksmith : Triple Boned Hammer + asperio
Explaination: Same as knight.

d) Assassin : Triple Boned Jur + asperio

153% damage to Eddga.

b) Hunter : Double Clamorous Flammable Crossbow + crystal arrows
Explaination: When using crystal arrows, this bow will do 230% damage to
Eddga.

d) Assassin : Katar of Frozen Icicle
Explaination: Katar of Frozen Icicle is a water elemental katar that
will do 128% damage to Eddga.

has the highest hit rate among all bosses, allowing him to hit
all players with deadly accuracy.

a) Knight : Triple Clamorous Trident + asperio
Explaination: A triple clamorous trident consists of a 3s trident and 3
goblin cards. With asperio from a priest, it will do 135%
damage to Evil Snake Lord. (Without asperio, the weapon
will do 0 damage.)

b) Hunter : Triple Clamorous Crossbow + immaterial arrows
Explaination: A triple clamorous crossbow consists of a 3s crossbow and
3 goblin cards. When using immaterial arrows, it will do
236% damage to Evil Snake Lord.

his movement speed is slow, making hit and run tactic effective
when engaging him.

Explaination: Zephyrus is a wind elemental spear that will do 120%
damage to Garm.

b) Hunter : Double Clamorous Saharic Crossbow + arrows of wind
Explaination: A double clamorous saharic crossbow consists of a 3s
crossbow, 2 goblin cards and a drainliar card. When using
arrows of wind, this bow will do 256% damage to Garm.

c) Blacksmith : Double Clamorous Saharic Hammer
Explaination: This combination of weapon will do 128% damage to Garm.

d) Assassin : Katar of Piercing Wind
Explaination: katar of Piercing Wind is a wind elemental katar that will
do 120% damage to Garm.

gives +100 attack, the skill cold bolt
(level 3) and 5% chance of freezing an
enemy when attacking

: A huge thief bug covered in gold armor.

: Golden Thief Bug is another lesser MVP boss. It is the only MVP
boss who is in passive mode and will not attack any player until
it is attacked. It has high physical defence but low hit points.
It will hides itself whenever it is low on hp, so prepare a
sight clip.

a) Knight : Double Insecticide Flammable Trident
Explaination: A double insecticide flammable trident consists of a 3s
trident, 2 caramel cards and a vadon card. It will deal
108% damage on Golden Thief Bug.

b) Hunter : Double Insecticide Flammable Crossbow + crystal arrows
Explaination: This combination of weapon deals 189% damage.

c) Blacksmith : Double Insecticide Flammable Hammer
Explaination: Same as knight.

d) Assassin : Triple Critical Jur
Explaination: Triple critical jur helps the assassin to make critical
hits that will do 100% damage to Golden Thief Bug.

Explaination: A double bloody hallowed trident (a 3s trident + 2 hydra
cards + 1 santa poring card) will do 113% damage against
Incantation Samurai. With asperio from a support priest,
the same weapon will do 198% damage.

b) Hunter : Double Bloody Hallowed Crossbow + silver arrows
Explaination: When use with silver arrows, this crossbow will do 198%
damage to Incantation Samurai.

c) Blacksmith : Double Bloody Hallowed Hammer + asperio
Explaination: Same as knight.

d) Assassin : Double Bloody Hallowed Jur + asperio
Explaination: Same as knight.

: Knight of Windstorm has the highest flee and second highest
hit rate among all MVP bosses. In other words, he is able to
dodge most attacks and at the same time hit players accurately.
Also, he teleports very often.

:
a) Knight : Quadraple Ancient Pike
Explaination: A quadraple ancient pike consists of a 4s pike and 4
mummy cards. Since Knight of Windstorm has 282 flee, you
will need the +80 hit rate to hit him. The damage may not
be high, but at least you will be able to hit him instead
of missing him completely.

b) Hunter : Double Beholder Windy Crossbow + stone arrows
